The primary purpose of this tournament is to provide a productive and organized platform for the competitive younger generation to exhibit their abundant talents. The event will feature 10 teams and corresponding cheer squads, ensuring a fair and exciting experience for all participants. The BattleGround tournament is designed to foster a spirit of healthy competition.
Every child is encouraged to participate, and equal treatment and opportunities will be extended to each individual in The Battleground Territory. Inclusivity is highly valued, so if girls prefer to form their own full team, it will be fully supported.

Team check-in and breakfast start at 8:00 AM
Check-in starts at 7:00 AM
Games consist of 7-minute quarters on 10-foot goals
Jump ball at the beginning of each game
Referees will determine technical rules such as double dribble, traveling, etc. Emphasis is placed on sportsmanship and minimizing technical fouls.
Dead ball stop on made baskets
Under 1 minute left in each quarter, all dead balls stop the clock
Each team has 4 timeouts per half (timeouts do not carry over to the next half)
Timeouts last for 1 minute each
Halftime duration is 10 minutes
Each cheer squad has a 5-minute break
In case of overtime, athletes will shoot as many free throws as possible within a 1-minute running clock timeframe.
